Top Five Benefits of Motorized Shades in Your Home

  1. Ease and Convenience

You can automate your entire home from one place with one touch. You can access and update your shade settings anytime and anywhere wirelessly with various devices, including tablets, smartphones, or handheld remotes. Motorized shades can also be programmed to lift and lower at specific times of day to coordinate with daylight.

  1. Privacy and Security

Feel safe at home by maintaining your privacy at all times by automating your motorized shades. Set an “away” scene for when you leave the house to conceal your valuables. With total integration, you can set the security system to bring your shades down at the same time for instant protection.

  1. Save Energy

Shades are an integral part of a climate control system. They work with both lighting systems and HVAC control to affect the temperature of your home and energy output. Lower a translucent solar shade during peak daylight hours to naturally reduce heat gain and give your AC a break.

  1. Protect Your Valuables

Not only can the sun’s harmful UV rays fade colors and wear down textiles, the effects of sunlight can be harsh on your furniture, artwork, carpet, and other valuables. Motorized shades are the perfect solution as they can completely block these UV rays from you home, in turn protecting your valuable furnishings.

  1. Aesthetically Pleasing

Motorized shades allow you the option to customize according to your home’s design aesthetic with styles including traditional, rustic, formal, and modern. No matter what the style, motorized shades are a great way to enhance the beauty, giving it a polished and modernized look.

By partnering with Ver-Tex to provide the latest in window treatment solutions, homeowners will be able to find the perfect window treatment to help bring comfort and style to their homes.

Once he became a graduate, he began working for his best friend’s dad who was a residential general contractor.

In 2015, Chris made the adventurous move across the good Ole U.S. of A to the state of Massachusetts. Although Massachusetts living is completely different than living in Southern California, he has found his new home and enjoys the trees, the lakes and the open spaces, (cue the banjo music).
