Andrew graduated from Hofstra University, where he majored in Marketing and minored in Graphic Design. While at Hofstra, Andrew ran the Industrial design lab, where he helped design and build projects with students in the woodshop. He has a strong understanding of design, sales, and customer service. Although Andrew takes his work very seriously, he does know how to let loose and has become good friends with a lot of his coworkers. He says, “One of the best perks about working at Ver-Tex is that everybody is personable, friendly, caring and knowledgeable about their position.” During Andrew’s free time he is an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, and has a strong passion for snowboarding and snowmobiling.

Andrew has been with Ver-Tex since 2003. Prior to joining the company, he worked for the Massachusetts state government. Andrew holds advanced degrees from the University of Massachusetts, and Simmons College, and has subsequently worked in and around toilet partitions in some of the finer establishments throughout the region. Some of Andrew’s favorite projects include the John W. McCormack Federal Courthouse, MIT’s Sloan School of Management, and Pier Four. Andrew and his wife, Lee, live in North Easton, where they are renovating a 19th century colonial. They have two awesome adult children.
Being a single parent of a 19-year-old daughter has been Mike’s greatest challenge and reward. Both like to travel to remote destinations just to get out into the back country. You would not be surprised to find them backpacking in a canyon or on top of a mountain on any given vacation.
Ricky, a native of Portugal, tries to make an annual trip back home to visit family that still live there. “One day, I hope to retire back in Portugal,” Ricky states.
Steve was born and raised in Massachusetts, and grew up with his large family in Bellingham. He met his loving wife just after high school and had a classic American wedding in Las Vegas! They now raise their four beautiful daughters in Blackstone, and experience the never-ending joys of parenthood and constant running from practices, games, play dates, birthday parties and more, and the best way to keep Steve going while running around is by having his Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee multiple times a day, 365, and yes, they are open on all major holidays. In his down time, Steve enjoys coaching youth soccer, playing hockey, and hanging out at his local men’s club playing horse shoes and pool. But most of all, Steve loves taking his boat out fishing, wake boarding, and tubing.
Lauren graduated from Assumption College, where she met her husband, Steve. They like to go to dive bars, and do a pretty decent Karaoke duet of Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now.” Some of Lauren’s favorite things to do are to read and to shop for new books to read. At home, you will find her binge watching a TV show, trying (and probably failing at) a new recipe, or taking a million pictures of her adopted dog, Gracie. She spends a lot of her time being silly with her nephew or going out with friends, and she loves to sleep in on the weekends. Seriously, don’t wake her up.
Steve attended Boston College High School in Dorchester, MA, and Assumption College in Worcester, MA. Steve has lived in Brockton since he was four years old. A few years ago, he moved right around the corner from his childhood home with his wife and dog. In his spare time, he plays video games – Nintendo specifically. He also plays in a competitive dart league and loves to attend concerts & comedy shows.
