Ver-Tex has become a distributor of the Dyson Airblade Hand dryer
Dyson AirbladeWe are proud to partner with Dyson on this dynamic product. It's the fastest hand dryer – and it's hygienic, too, cleaning the air before blowing it onto hands. And because it uses up to 80% less energy than warm air hand dryers, it costs less to run and can help lower a business's carbon footprint. We will continue to strive to bring to our customers eco-friendly products.

Ver-Tex welcomes Dawn Lang to our team. As a designer, Dawn comes to us with 20 plus years in the commercial and residential markets. Her specialty is window treatments and furniture. We welcome Dawn to our team and know her design experience will be a successful addition for our customers.

Recent Projects Awarded

Taunton Trial Court

  • Location: Taunton, MA under the construction of General Contractor of Daniel O'Connell's Sons.
  • Description: Furnishing and installation of Levolor horizontal blinds, projection screens and manual and motorized shades.

Umass Biologic labs (part of Umass med school)

  • Location: Amherst, MA under the construction of General Contractor of William Berry & Son, Inc.
  • Description: Furnishing and installation of motorized Mechoshades throughout the Lab.

Dana-Farber/ Brigham and Women's "Cancer Center" in affiliation with South Shore Hospital.

  • Location: South Weymouth, MA under the Construction Management of "Gilbane Building Co."
  • Description: Project under construction and first patients will be welcome in late 2009. We will be providing manual and motorized shades and toilet partitions.

Newton Wellesley Hospital "Vernon" Cancer Center: Opening summer 2009:

  • Description: Under the construction management of Walsh Bros, Inc. - "bringing radiation oncology to the hospital for the first time" In collaboration with Mass General Hospital Radiation Oncology Services. We will be providing wall protection, toilet accessories, cubicle curtain tracks/ lockers and fire protection.

F.M. Global World headquarters Johnston RI FM Global, one of the world's largest commercial property insurers

  • Description: Under the construction management of "Dimeo Construction Co."
  • Our products: Motorized shades/ 2nd application in New England of the Solar Track System. This is a proprietary software based control system designed to automatically adjust the position of the shades incrementally on the window to maximize view and daylighting while protecting people and work surfaces from direct sun, excessive brightness and glare.

MIT Sloan School of Management:

  • Description: Under the Construction Management of "Walsh Bros, Inc." Construction is currently underway. The new building is scheduled to be completed in the early summer of 2010 "A Gateway to Campus" "A Leeds certified showcase located on Memorial Drive".
  • Our products: Providing the building with 400 motorized and clutch shades with full specialties package including...toilet partitions and accessories/ projection screens/ fire extinguishers and cabinets/ corner guards/ markers and chalk boards/ miscellaneous specialty items.
